Live Event Painting

A live painting session is a captivating and immersive artistic experience for the viewers.  This form of art brings the magic of creation to life as I paint from my easel and discuss my creative process.

Unlike viewing a completed framed piece of art, live painting is a dynamic and evolving process that unfolds right before the viewers eyes. ​The artwork becomes a conversation starter and a focal point of any space whether at an event, busy lobby, or public area.  

​The transformation from a blank canvas to a finished artwork creates a sense of connection and involvement from the viewers and fosters a deeper appreciation for the artistic journey.

The texture, vibrant colors, and subtle nuances achieved with oil paints draws the eye and invites exploration. Each stroke builds upon the previous one, layering the pigments and bringing the artwork to life with a sense of depth and dimension. ​

As you'll find on this site, I am primarily an equine and pet portrait artist, so of course I'm quick to connect with other animal lovers!  However, I do paint diverse subject matter including seascapes, landscapes, and custom designs. 

It is rare that an artist will show their "behind-the-scenes" painting process, so this tends to be a special sneak peek that also offers an interactive element, allowing viewers to witness the creative process firsthand.
