1. Private and Group Guest Painting Experiences
Canvas painting engages guests in a fun new way and is sure to stand out as a unique resort activity. Through a group or private session, guests create memories that capture features from the resort and surrounding region. Led by professional artist, Kimball Willson, guests are guided step-by-step through the painting process that results in an entertaining, personalized experience and artwork that becomes a cherished memory of their time spent on the resort's property.
Guests may select from a limited schedule of private, customized painting sessions (1-4 guests) or join an early-evening small group painting session (up to 10 guests). These packages may also be combined with the resort's restaurants or catering services to provide an expanded offering.

2. Live Painting on Resort Property

Artist Kimball Willson paints from her easel as a form of guest entertainment, as well as offering artistic insights, discussion, and an invitation to join the Guest Painting Experiences. She is primarily an equine and pet portrait artist and is especially quick to connect with guests traveling with pets! However, Kimball does paint diverse subject matter including seascapes, landscapes, and custom designs. It is rare that an artist will show their "behind-the-scenes" painting process, so this tends to be a special sneak peek that inspires guests to join the Painting Experiences, and also allows them the opportunity to observe the artistic process right on the resort's property.

Kimball launched her company, Corporate to Canvas, in 2018 and has led nearly 3,000 attendees through painting activities. She is a skilled public speaker, completed certificates in hospitality training, and has an extensive list of corporate clients delighted by painting activities. Her passion for art has spanned decades and her professional oil painting portraits may be viewed on this current site.
